2024 Annual Meeting Videos

We are delighted to share the highlights from the 2024 Ag Ventures Alliance Annual Meeting that took place on March 27th at the iconic Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa. This year was particularly special as we celebrated our 25th anniversary, an important milestone for a grassroots effort to increase farm profitability that was started by volunteers!

The Lightning Round with several of our portfolio companies. Attendees were then given time to network and engage with them on a personal basis.

A standout session was the Investor Panel led by Kevin Kimle. This engaging discussion featured the unique perspectives of Chad Johnson from Grain Weevil, Ben Williamson from Grit Road, Jerrod Westfahl from Innovative Livestock Services, and Joe Rowe, a member of the Countryside Angel network. The insights shared highlighted the dynamic investment landscape in agriculture, strategic opportunities for growth, and key learnings from the panelists.

The keynote speech by Vance Crowe was the standout session from this year’s meeting. Vance connected with the audience in a way we have not seen before.

Spencer Stensrude’s “State of the Coop” address provided a quick summary of the year’s achievements and the vision for the future.

Dan Helgeson, CEO of Rural Development Partners, gave an explanation on how they work with New Market Tax Credits.

The Farmer Trial Panel, moderated by AgVA’s Farm Trial and Member Success Specialist, Loran Steinlage, featured panelists engaged in the AgLaunch Farm Trials including Margaret Oldham, Mitchell Hora, Dan Gehling, and Ryan Gibbs, who shared their hands-on experiences and the reasons they are part of the program. The discussion underscored the critical role of farmer feedback in shaping the future of AgTech.
